My name is Dave Johnson and I set up Bingley Guitar Studio in 2004. Since then I have tutored and mentored hundreds of students, from youngsters aged 7 to mature first timers, I have successfully taught the skills to many who aspire to make music with the electric, acoustic and bass guitar.

Everybody’s ‘guitar journey’ is unique and I can quickly identify the interests and aspirations of new students and then work out the most interesting way for them to learn the necessary skills and techniques to make learning fun and enjoyable.

Poppy has been working hard on her acoustic techniques and is now accompanying herself singing her favourite songs. She has recently been seen performing publicly, wowing audiences with her unique style. She continues to grow as a performer with some already prestigious events under her belt.

Nathaniel has been at Bingley Guitar Studio since 2010 and continues to impress with his accomplished style and musicality. Nathaniel has become a very accomplished musician; he also plays the saxophone, drums, cajon, and keyboard. Currently in a band with his friends he has several live performances to his credit....oh...and a pedalboard that wouldn't look out of place on any professional stage!

Harry got his first guitar at 10 years of age and has been attending Bingley Guitar Studio for over 2 years. He is excelling as a student and currently studying for his Grade 3. He has quickly grasped many of the concepts that will enable him to excel as a guitarist. He loves playing classic rock and pop and is competently playing in school band projects and competitions.
